New websites in Web 2.0

Web 2.0 can be thought of as more modified and advance form of World Wide Web which includes RSS feed, blogs, bookmarking WebPages, social software and other applications that help internet users to interact with each other.

Web 2.0 is another way to share files, videos and images with people’s feedback.
This term was first used in a conference in 2004 by the O’Reilly Media which is owned by Tim O’Reilly.

He is a supporter of free software that can be viewed and accessed by anyone without any restrictions.
Tim mentioned four levels that fall in the hierarchy of Web 2.0 while Level-3 dealing with the fact that all this information is available only on the internet which consist of websites like Wikipedia, eBay and Skype. Level-2 websites that can be run while being offline and a user can get more out of them when connected.

Level-1 includes websites like Google Docs, iTunes and spreadsheets which have more features available online.
Level-O websites like Google Map and Yahoo! Local work offline as well as online giving a user an advantage to access them even when not connected.
